Update: Version 0.1.2 of the application was approved by apple last night (24/8) and is now available on the App Store. This version includes bug fixes, a new application icon and some minor ui improvements.

We are proud to announce the release of the official Flattr application for The Conference, the world’s first flattrable conference. The Conference takes place in Malmö, Sweden between the 24th and 25th of august. Participants of The Conference will be able to flattr speakers, session and even other participants through the use of Flattr IRL codes or using the built in conference schedule. The application includes, apart from the event schedule, a Flattr IRL code scanner (i.e. QR code scanner) and naturally the ability to flattr things. The application is of course useful outside of The Conference and can be used to scan any Flattr IRL code or let others flattr you by scanning your own Flattr IRL code (as seen in the above picture, second iPhone).

So if you are a participant at The Conference and equipped with an iOS device go ahead and download the app and flattr the sessions and people you like!
